    Rafe was born on a farm outside of San Francisco, his family made a good living until his father and mother decided to go back to being the CO's and CSO. Rafe was a little unhappy because of the thought of being pulled out of simple living.  Instead of being pulled along, Rafe was left with relatives back on Earth.  He was fine with that even though he didn't like the thought about never seeing his parents unless the ship was on R & R which happened very rarely.
    When he was 5 years old, Rafe started to go into school to which he started to learn about life and living these days.  He had agreed that he would've never wanted to accept.  On his 16th birthday, Rafe got a gift that he never wanted.  On the outskirts of the alpha quadrant his parents ship was ambushed and both of them were killed right before the ship could get away.
    Now the attackers were thought to be the beginners of the Dominions.  But they had no real proof but soon enough a war broke out that proved that the battle was true to the news.  Right before Rafe graduated High school, he had signed up for the Marines. He agreed that the war was going to be a very long one.
